I can fly out to marry her, and my parents will give me permission its just im not to clued up on the legal side of things. any answer will do thanks.Honey, you need to take time and become a grown up before committing yourself to a woman who lives in a different country. 18 and 15 are way to young to marry. Go partying, enjoy your youth and focus on higher education, and a better future before you become a woman's husband.WOW you are 15? don't even worry about marriage are you kidding me? unless thatshow it works in England... but yeahhh. you have to meet someone, go on dates for about 6 years before you marry them. i hope you are kidding kid. ahah.i think you should wait until you are older. you wouldn't even be able to get a job yet here at 15.You're clearly confused dude... you're toooo young yet.Hi
My opinion: You're too young to get married! Why the rush??
Just because you love her, doesn't mean you have to marry her right away.LMAO!!i think marriage at 15 is illegal in the states, mate. sorry!Wait till you're 18, by which time you would have moved onto someone else by then.im pretty sure you need to be 18 ...otherwise you need parental consent on both sidesMarriage is forever. Wait a few years to start a union that will hopefully last for 80 and you'll both be better off for it.Yeah, you're 15. Grow up some before you do this...
Married??? Come on now. You are 15!!You may not marry at age 15 in the U.K. You may marry at age 16 with written parental consent but check with your local registar's office: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/marria... Keep in mind it may take time for your fiance to file the appropriate visa paperwork and have it approved. So you may be age 16 (or older) anyway before she makes her way across the pond.
Generally it's the same in the U.S. - but you/she will need to check with the courthouse/city hall (registrar's office) in the town she resides since each state has different regulations. See http://www.usmarriagelaws.com for information but contact the local city hall for most accurate information. In some areas you can marry at age 15 with written parental consent. But the visa issue is the same - it may take awhile to file the appropriate fiance visa paperwork and have it approved.
Please keep in mind that there are visa issues after you get married - I don't know if you want to move to the U.S. or if your fiance wants move to the U.K. but it will take a long time for the appropriate visas to be issued. Your fiance will need to talk to an immigration lawyer regardless.
Yes, it gets rather complicated and there is no guarantee how long these visa will take to get approved if at all. As others have suggested, why not consider going to school in the U.S. or have her to to school or work in the U.K. You can get to know each other better and work through the paperwork and wedding plans together. Best of luck! What's her opinion on this?My advice is the two of you are young. Just go and live together first. Get out of school, apply to a college in the US and spend time with her. Live your life by yourself in the US while you make your life with her. Then if you two still feel this strongly..then go for it. But do not do it until you have made yourselves a good foundation. Good luck!well, first, see if she likes u. then, wait awhile, so yeah.. but you cant marry right away, like, go on a few dated, and yeahwait until you grow up. Sorry, its not legal in the U.S.A either, I think you will just have to wait :L#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
