I am doing a presintation on kidney stones and I was wondering what I can do with the class thats hands on?when you actually pass a kidney stone, they don't let you keep it- it gets sent to the lab for analysis, so you wont be able to do that. i think it may be possible for you to get a cow kidney from the butcher- people actually eat them- that way the kids can see what they look like, and touch them and stuff. good luck.Perhaps you can find what you are looking for in a web search for "kidney stones" + causes + remedies.Maybe get something that feels like a kidney stone (not an actual one, that's kind of gross) but something similar in texture, hardness, etc., that people could feel to see what it's like having one in your body.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
