I'm looking at getting a SLIK tripod setup. I was concerned about money before and looking at a promaster setup when I realized that if I go with promaster I will end up spending more money getting somthing better anyway. Then I looked at SLIK being the company of my older tripod (even though it is complete $30 garbage). I found 714 CF-II Legs with a SBH-550 head and some quick release plate. This seems to make good sense because I do take a lot of nature pictures and me moving around, these being around 4 to 5 pounds is very convienent. Well, now that I have the D200 I do not have to have lens with the AF motor built in my lens. I purchased the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 HSM Macro lens because I had the D40 at the time. hey people i was thinking of getting either the Polygon Helios 500 or the Scott Speedster S10. The polygon costs $1400 while the scott costs $2500. That aside, the shop where i can get the scott can help tailor the bike to my specifications while the shop for the polygon provides no such service (such a service could cost up to $200). i'm a novice with film still, and I was wondering what might be some good brands for film. I'm mostly looking for crisp, high contrast bw film (but some nice looking color too). So far I havent been able to buy any film except for at local places like walmart so i've only bought kodak and fuji a couple of times. Any suggestions?High speed film or ,more so, pushed film should give higher contrast. If you print yourself, a grade 4 or higher filter should do the trick. I've admired the style of photos this person does because they are somehow more luminous, pop more out of the picture - and I don't know how it's done. I guess in general I just want to know how people get shots that are so clear and crisp. and im wondering two things. The first being weather anyone understands that the actual 'tax increase' would only be implemented on what you make over 250,000 & would go up by about 3%. Meaning if you make $260,000 you will be taxed at a rate of aproximately 35% from $0-$250,000 (just like everyone else) and a 3% higher rate of 38% on $10,000. I also wonder if any of the people who are so disgusted by the increase actually fall into that tax bracket? I live in NYC, and the people I know (myself included) who fall into that tax bracket aren't crying over the 3% extra they will be taxed over $250,000 because when you are making decent money it makes a very minor difference if any. I'm trying to format a jsp page with the tag by giving the command 'tidy -imu page.jsp'. There is only one line with this include tag and the rest is pure HTML 1st page gives an error line 139 column 17 - Error: jsp:include is not recognized! line 139 column 17 - Warning: discarding unexpected jsp:include but then it doesn't do any other formating. i.e. it hit this error and says it's ignoring but it doesn't do anything with the rest of the text. I'm having major problems with my .ppt presentations. If you stay on a slide for more thank 5 min or so, it automatically clicks back to the first slide. Transition on mouse click is enabled.
